PMM5544 OEM - Boardset Only

The PMM5544 is a high-performance underwater acoustic modem enabling robust communication and scientific data collection and processing.

Highly suited for integration on ROVs, AUVs, or scientific instrumentation, the PMM544 OEM acoustic modem provides high-speed, long range acoustic communications and processing. RS-232, RS-422 and Ethernet connections allow for flexible interfacing by using our Matlab or Python APIs, or our integrated shell. The PMM5544 is also capable of logging PCM data in either passband or baseband to a microSD card or over TCP Sockets.

Additional features include:

• Additional 4-Channel Hydrophone Input and Signal Output: The PMM5544 allows the simultaneous input, processing, and output of data from four hydrophone channels, as well as output through 4 dedicated signal outputs channels. 
  

• High-Speed Dual-Core ARM Processor: Powered by a high-speed quad-core ARM processor, the PMM5544 ensures rapid data processing, significantly improving operational efficiency.

• Low Power Wake-Up: Incorporating a low power wake-up capability, the PMM5544 ensures energy efficiency while maintaining constant readiness for communication.

About the JANUS compliant version:

The JANUS compliant versions of the PMM5544 includes a JANUS software license and features a ET-11520-05 JANUS-compliant transducer.
