PMM5544 Features:
- Long-Range Acoustic Communication: 1–8 km depending on transducer, conditions, and modulation selected.
- Flexible Data Rates: 80 bps to 10,240 bps depending on the selected modulation scheme.
- Precise Acoustic Ranging: High-accuracy ranging capability (<0.3 m).
- 4-Channel Input / 4-Channel Output: Supports multi-channel acoustic processing for advanced sensing and beamforming applications.
- Integrated Single Sideband Voice: Includes SSB voice communications with adaptive squelch, VOX, and noise cancellation.
- Easy System Integration: Gigabit Ethernet, RS-422, RS-232, and programmable Linux APIs.
Optional Specialized Features (License Required):
- JANUS Support: Enables interoperable underwater communications using the NATO ANEP-87 standard.
- Phorcys Stheno + Euryale: Adds secure Phorcys communications with Stheno (20–28 kHz) and Euryale (8–12 kHz) capability. Euryale requires a compatible low-frequency transducer.
- MARIA: Unlocks the Marine Acoustic Rapid Innovation Architecture for custom acoustic algorithms, PCM data access, and advanced hardware control.
