Unlock MARIA (Marine Acoustic Rapid Innovation Architecture) capability on compatible Popoto Modem systems, enabling a flexible software framework for rapid development and deployment of custom underwater acoustic algorithms. Designed for research, prototyping, and advanced system integration, MARIA allows users to implement custom modulation schemes, detection methods, and specialized signal processing directly on Popoto hardware through a simple callback-based API.

Supports user-defined processing across sampling rates from 8 kS/s to 384 kS/s, with access to system functions including power management, amplifier control, PCM data handling, and integration with Popoto control interfaces such as Pshell, Python, MATLAB®, Socket, and C++ APIs.

Supported on systems based on the PMM4511, PMM5544 and PMM6081 acoustic modem platforms.
