C1500 - Compact Underwater Acoustic Modem

The C1500 Underwater Modem is Popoto Modem’s most compact battery-powered underwater acoustic modem, designed for reliable communication, ranging, and system integration in demanding subsea environments. Built around the PMM4511 modem board set and packaged in a rugged aluminum enclosure, the C1500 provides an all-in-one acoustic modem solution with an integrated 22.2 V, 3500 mAh lithium-ion battery and a compact 300 mm x 76 mm x 76 mm form factor depth-rated to 2000 m.

• Easy System Integration: Python, MATLAB®, C++, and JSON APIs, with web interface and pShell configuration tools.
• Onboard Data Logging: 32 GB internal storage (approximately 20 GB usable) with microSD expansion up to 1.5 TB+.
• Waveform Playback and Recording: Baseband and passband waveform playback and recording during modem operation.

• Phorcys Stheno: Adds secure Phorcys communications capability in the 20–28 kHz operating band.
• MARIA: Unlocks the Marine Acoustic Rapid Innovation Architecture for custom acoustic algorithms, PCM data access, and advanced hardware control.
