Deckbox

The Deckbox serves as a robust top-side interface for underwater communication, offering versatile data transfer capabilities. It supports multiple bitrates, ranging from 80 bps to 5120 bps, ensuring reliable data exchange. For extensive data logging and PCM recording, it features an external SATA drive interface, providing virtually unlimited storage. The Deckbox is designed for seamless integration, offering user-friendly APIs in Python, Matlab, C++, and socket-based JSON. Hardware interfaces, including RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet, SPI, and GPIOs, further enhance its adaptability. The integraded  enabling users to deploy custom control and instrumentation Python applications directly on the modem. Real-time PCM data streaming is supported, facilitating acoustic signal capture and sound generation. Additionally, the Deckbox provides sub-meter accuracy two-way ranging, enabling precise distance measurement to the underwater modem.
